Savannah had another appt today at the vet. The Dr. withdrew 106 CC’s of urine. It contained blood and glucose, however, no white bloodcells. Also no stones.

Canadian Food Inspection Agency Encourages Early Preparedness For Enhanced Feed Ban
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is reminding cattle producers, abattoirs and other regulated parties to begin preparing for new requirements under the enhanced feed ban, which come into force July 12, 2007. The enhanced feed ban will accelerate Canada’s progress toward the eradication of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) from the national herd, and serves to protect producers by reducing opportunities for cross contamination in the feed supply. More people turn to chickens as pets (AP via Yahoo! News)
The leaves shiver, the branches quake and 9-year-old Sophia Genco bounds out of the bushes, clucking at the top of her lungs while sprinting after a flock of scurrying chickens. She isn’t chasing down dinner. She’s just playing with one of the family pets.
